Our history
It all began in 1982 with a declaration of love for Tuscany, one of the most unique cultural landscapes in Europe. This gentle hilly landscape with wine and olives, the warm nature of the Italians, the enjoyable lifestyle and the fantastic weather of the Italian summer have inspired me ever since. In the time when Tuscany was still considered an insider tip, the first vacation home rental was born. Ten years later the success story of Toscana Landhäuser GmbH was continued by strong growth. The renting offer extended from the simple Rustico or country house over villas, living on the vineyard or in family-led Agriturismo enterprises up to the letting of luxury villas and castles.
Parallel to this, the sale of real estate developed. Many clients who had booked vacations in Tuscany or Sardinia through us for years developed the desire to own something of their own. Property owners who, for reasons of age, no longer wanted to rent out their properties but sell them were our first sellers.
