Villa la Castellaccia is a "Residenza d'epoca" dated back to 1614 always belong to Noble Family Aloigi Luzzi and her Progeny.
The Villa is divided into two wings, with one wing accomodating the owner and a two room bed and breakfast.
The remaining wing of the Villa is the rentable area and has three double bedrooms.
La Castellaccia has retained all the architectural features of many eras: in fact the antique furnishings and décor reflect the centuries old style of the Villa, but it posesses conveniences for the discriminating guest, such as modern bathrooms hot water and central heating
The gated entrance leads you to the grounds of this elegant mansion, now remodeled into two separate areas. The Villa is situated on the gentle slopes of the Tiber valley at the border between Tuscany and Umbria.
An automatic wrought iron gate, builted in 1800, is opened by inside telephone to go out and by password on keeboard for enter. The gate is always closed for high privacy. Villa "La Castellaccia" is accessible only by guests and owners themselves. There is no common area between guests and owners.

The Montedoglio Lake: located only 5 minutes away is wonderful for sailing, canoeing and windsurfing.
Horse riding: A riding school is also only 5 minutes away.
Trekking: Hiking enthusiasts can walk for hundreds of miles on unspoiled mountain trails, with breathtaking views at every bend of the path.
One day tours: One hour away by car are the towns of Arezzo, Cortona, Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, Spoleto and Urbino each offering more art and history as well as more local wines and food of high standard. Florence, Siena and the Republic of San Marino are one and half-hours by car, as is the Rimini coast, where one can experience Italian seafood.

It is very close to Sansepolcro, Anghiari, Caprese Michelangelo (The Artist's Birthplace) and Monterchi, towns of artistic and historical interest. They all boast great a number of excellent and traditional Tuscan restaurants for all tastes.
At the nearest City, Sansepolcro 4km: a restaurant, farmacy, butcher, green grocer, baker, florist, newsagent, supermarket, bar, post office, bank, chemist, clothing and forniture shop etc.
Grocery store a 300 mt: open also Sunday.
